Proudly announce that Pingüino Explorer Yacht, has completely revamped its image was being so over the past three months constantly remodeling, with this we ensure to offer a quality service to satisfy all our clients.


As part of changing our brand has changed, our legal name Pingüino Explorer is maintained, while our new brand name is Astrea - Gala I (in the past Gala I - Pingüino Explorer)


DIVING INFORMATION 


Experienced Divers: 

More than 60 logged dives and 3 night dives. Our cruise demands experienced divers.

Intermediate Divers: 
More than 30 logged dives. For tourists and non-divers: snorkeling, kayak, panga rides, and land visits.



DIVING FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT

All the equipment necessary for sailing in accordance with international Coast Guard regulations (Navigation, communication, rescue, first aid).

2 dive tank compressors. Enriched air or nitrox
50 aluminum scuba tanks with valves, belts and weights (If you do not have your own diving equipment you can rent it on board, but please book it at least 15 days in advance of your trip).
All dives are done from a dive tender, allowing easy access to all the best diving sites. You will appreciate that the dive deck features both a camera rinse tank and table and that nitrox is available.


IMPORTANT:
After diving, guests can relax in the air-conditioned saloon with a complimentary beer, wine or cup of coffee, check their images on the onboard computer, or enjoy some music or movies on the entertainment system. Comfort, service and serious diving in the remote islands of the Galapagos are the highlights of a diving cruise on board Galacruises 1/Pingüino Explorer.


IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS

Valid international diving license

Medical Certificate
Diving Insurance (DAN)
More than 60 logged dives
Experience in the open sea and with strong currents



CABINS
There are 8 cabins with private bathrooms:
4 bunk bed cabins with windows on the upper deck

1 Master cabin with windows on the main deck (1 double bed and 1 upper bed).
3 bunk bed cabins with portholes on the lower deck.

MENU – COUSINE TYPE
Ecuadorian and international meals  are served both menu and buffet-style using the freshest ingredients available. Soft drinks  and tea, coffee and drinking water are  available free of charge. Beer, wine, and bottled beverages can be  purchased on board.
All meals are served  in air conditioned dining room. Pre-breakfast, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks are provided during the cruise.
All dietary requirements can be catered to with prior notice to allow us to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction.

2 to 4 inmmersions per day (Diving as per the itinerary)
Double accommodation
Transfers from and to the airport within the Galapagos Islands
